On June 13, 2026, Superteam Germany transformed a riverside warehouse on the Spree into a hub for European blockchain. Solana Summit Germany was a bold statement.
On a Saturday in mid-June, more than 1,400 founders, developers, investors, institutions, and creators gathered at Spreespeicher Eventlocation on Stralauer Allee. This converted warehouse sits right on the River Spree in Berlin's Friedrichshain district. Attendees spent twelve hours exploring the world Solana is building.
This was Solana Summit Germany 2026, organized by Superteam Germany. It was the largest Solana gathering ever held in the country and one of Europe's most important blockchain events this year.
The timing couldn't have been better.
Today showed one thing:

Thank you for showing up big for Germany today 🇩🇪

The Timing Was Deliberate
Superteam Germany chose June 13 on purpose. The Summit kicked off Berlin Blockchain Week 2026, a decentralized community event running from June 13 to 21. It brings together Europe's most active blockchain builders, investors, and protocol teams in Berlin for nine days.
By starting the week at Spreespeicher, the Summit set the tone for everything that followed.
The timing also placed the Summit between SuperReturn, a major private equity event, and the start of Berlin Blockchain Week. This was intentional, allowing Solana to connect with institutional investors while they were already in Berlin.
The Venue
Spreespeicher is a 19th-century industrial warehouse on the east bank of the Spree, now one of Berlin's most impressive event spaces. It features terraces with river views, industrial interiors suited for big events, and an atmosphere that makes a conference feel more like a cultural experience.
For a community event built around the idea that financial infrastructure can be as compelling as it is useful, the venue did real work. It gave the Summit a texture that standard hotel ballroom events don't have.

The Speakers
The main stage drew some of the most recognised names across the Solana ecosystem.
Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Helius, was one of the featured speakers. Helius is a widely used developer infrastructure platform in the Solana ecosystem. It has become central for developers building on Solana, handling RPC infrastructure, webhooks, and APIs that support many of the network's applications.
Xiao-Xiao Zhu from Jupiter also spoke at the event. Jupiter is Solana's main decentralized exchange aggregator and one of the most used protocols on the network, handling billions in trading volume.
@vidor_solflare from Solflare, a leading self-custody wallet for Solana, also took the stage. Solflare has been an important part of Solana's consumer infrastructure since the network's early days.
Yannik Schrade, co-founder of Arcium, a confidential computing network built on Solana, rounded out the named speakers. Arcium sits at the intersection of privacy technology and blockchain infrastructure, and its presence on the Summit agenda reflected the event's interest in frontier technical territory.
A speaker from VIA Science delivered a session titled “AI is Bullish on Crypto: The Rise of Agentic Payments,” one of the day's more forward-looking talks. The session explored the convergence of AI agents and crypto payment rails, a thesis that Solana has been developing at a foundation level throughout 2026.
Some conferences have panels.

The Themes
The Summit focused on Internet Capital Markets. This means rebuilding financial markets, capital formation, and asset settlement directly on-chain, running all the time and across borders, without the usual friction of traditional finance.
Solana Foundation President Lily Liu has been talking about this framework for the past year: on-chain capital markets, continuous trading and settlement, and eventually, on-chain IPOs.
The Berlin Summit brought this discussion to Europe, with German and other European builders, institutions, and investors attending.
AI payments were another big theme throughout the day. The Solana Foundation says the network has already processed 15 million on-chain payments started by AI agents, with stablecoins becoming the main way for machines to settle transactions.
The VIA Science session highlighted this idea, showing agentic payments as a major upcoming development in crypto infrastructure.
we put so much work into this summit, but seeing everyone come together made it all worth it.

The program also included stablecoins, institutional tokenization, and German-led innovation in Web3. This showed that the Summit focused not just on the global Solana story, but also on what European and especially German builders are contributing.
The Programming Beyond the Stage
The Summit offered more than just talks.
The main stage programme included fireside chats, founder talks, live pitches, and coding sessions — formats designed to mix insight with interaction across the full day.
A live trading competition also ran all day, with real stakes, a live leaderboard, and real winners. This added a competitive edge and kept the energy high outside the main stage.
Attendees could also join Berlin-style arts and sports activities, including golf on the Spree. Exclusive merchandise and giveaways from partner brands were handed out throughout the venue. The day ended with an after-party that kept the Summit's energy going into the Berlin night.
The Partners
The event was anchored by OKX as the main partner, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges by trading volume and a company that has been deepening its presence at European blockchain events in 2026.

Other partners included Staking Facilities, Via, Arcium, and Bags. The wider partner group supporting activities at the venue included Lamborghini, Solana Mobile, Cudis, Solana Spaces, Pudgy, and Tangem. This lineup showed the Summit's focus on financial infrastructure and its goal to connect Solana with consumer and premium lifestyle brands.
What It Means
Events like Solana Summit in Germany are important for reasons beyond just the scheduled sessions.
Germany is Europe's largest economy and has one of the most complex regulatory environments for digital assets.
The fact that more than 1,400 people came to Berlin — including founders, investors, institutions, and developers working with Solana — shows that the ecosystem in Europe is now mature, not just emerging.

Superteam Germany has spent years preparing for this moment, with co-working sessions, developer workshops, demo days, and community dinners in cities like Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Cologne.
The Summit was the result of all that work — a day large enough to bring together the people shaping European tech and finance with those building the future of money.
Berlin Blockchain Week runs until June 21, but the biggest Solana event of the week has already taken place.
